Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join our team at FIRST CHOICE STAFFING, INC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating overhead IN-CAB cranes, with a focus on handling coiled steel using remote controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate overhead IN-CAB cranes to move and position heavy steel coils
  • Ensure safe and efficient crane operation, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
  • Collaborate with production teams to meet production goals and deadlines
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on cranes and equipment
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating overhead cranes in a steel plant environment
  • Strong knowledge of crane safety procedures and regulations
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check
  • Availability to work all shifts, including 2nd and 3rd shifts
  • Steel toe boots and personal protective equipment (PPE) required
