We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist/Licensed Practice Nurse to join our team at The University of Vermont Health Network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of pulmonary diagnostic tests, including pulmonary function, oximetry, FENO testing, home sleep studies, and administration of DME.
- Conduct routine quality control testing on pulmonary function equipment and maintain accurate patient files.
- Work independently in the Pulmonary Function laboratory, utilizing strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Support patient care as an LPN as needed, demonstrating a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Currently licensed as a Licensed Practice Nurse in New York State.
- Registered or Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist preferred, with a strong emphasis on those credentialed by NBRC.
- AHA-BLS certification required within 6 months of hire, with a commitment to maintaining current certification.
- Previous experience in Medical Office, Pulmonary Function Testing, and DME a significant advantage.
