Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a key member of our veterinary support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standard of care for our patients and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with animal care during appointments, surgeries, and treatment procedures
  • Prepare surgical equipment and assist with pre- and post-operative care
  • Administer anesthesia and monitor patient vital signs
  • Perform dental cleanings and procedures, as well as laboratory testing and hospitalized patient care
  • Communicate effectively with doctors, support staff, and clients to ensure seamless care and service
  • Maintain accurate medical records and inventory
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Veterinary Technician (LVT) in the state of Virginia or pending licensure
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 20lbs and perform physical demands of the job
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends, with occasional overtime
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
