**Operational Support for Restoration Activities**
The position provides critical support for restoration activities involving client contents. Primary job functions include tasks related to contents manipulation, packing, transporting, cleaning, deodorizing, and storage. This position will be required to use a variety of specialized equipment and cleaning chemicals under supervision. Job duties will be completed both at client sites and at our facility.
Responsibilities- Manipulate contents at client sites to support efficient content restoration activities to be completed at our facility.
- Correctly wrap, package and inventory contents according to standard operating procedures to prevent damage during transport.
- Load and transport contents to our facility for cleaning and storage.
- Return contents to client locations.
- Must be available to work a Monday through Friday schedule and occasionally after hours and weekends.
- Must have a comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles, and practices.
- Ability to properly identify proper product usage and disposal requirements for packing activity as outlined in standard operating procedures and training.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle per Blue Kangaroo Packoutz's vehicle policy.
- Must be able to pass a background and drug test.
- Clean three year driving history (CDL not required).
- Maintain a sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
- Possess a genuine desire to help others during difficult life events.
- Ability to frequent lift an excess of 50 lbs or more and maintain mobility in tight spaces while working indoors and outdoors in a variety of climates.
- Skilled trade, restoration, moving, clearing or insurance industry experience is preferred.
- Bilingual candidates are also desired.
