Job Summary

Loureiro Engineering Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team in Plainville, CT. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our Front Office and assist various departments or management teams with day-to-day tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer multi-line phone calls and direct them accordingly.
  • Assist with routine transactional processes and prepare various documents.
  • Format and edit letters, reports, and correspondence.
  • Coordinate conferences, meetings, and events.
  • Receive, sort, and deliver mail to employees and managers.
  • Input and maintain data on Company and Microsoft software.
  • Work safely and adhere to the firm's policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High School diploma required; some college level course work preferred.
  • Working knowledge of office practices and procedures and standard office equipment.
  • 1-3 years related experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in inventorying and supply requisition.
  • Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
Physical Demands
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
  • Able to push, pull, and place materials on level surfaces and overhead cabinets.
