Job Title: Electrical Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join our team at TIC - The Industrial Company. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and collaboration on site.

Job Summary:

The Electrical Superintendent will provide supervisory direction to craft workers, including journeymen and apprentices, to manage the performance of productivity, safety, quality, and schedule adherence. This role will also involve liaison between field engineering and craft to ensure compliance with construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide supervisory direction to craft workers, including journeymen and apprentices
  • Liaison between field engineering and craft to ensure compliance with construction drawings and specifications
  • Coordinate and interface effectively with other superintendents and subcontractors
  • Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties
  • Assist in schedule planning, determining craft labor levels, material quantities, and equipment requirements
  • Oversee monthly job cost updates, cash flow projections, review, approve, and negotiate change orders
Requirements:
  • 7+ years' experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry
  • Advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines, union agreements, and jurisdictional issues
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently supervise and evaluate craft and subcontractor performance
  • Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, planning, and contract administration skills
