We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at TriStar Summit Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the growth and development of our colleagues.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will be responsible for assessing and coordinating patient care, developing individualized plans of care, and providing education to patients and families. You will also serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and reassess patients to develop individualized plans of care
  • Administer medications and maintain accurate documentation
  • Provide education to patients and families on disease management and self-care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
  • Monitor and maintain patient safety and well-being
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • RN licensure by the Tennessee Board of Nursing or a compact state
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred)
  • One to two years of clinical nursing experience (preferred)
  • ACLS certification within six months of hire or transfer
