Middlesex Water Company, a leading water utility company, is seeking a skilled Senior Water Distribution Technician to join its team. Salary:$65,000 - $85,000 per annum
Job Description:
The Senior Water Distribution Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the company's water distribution system, including fire hydrants, water distribution valves, and components. This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of water distribution systems
* Perform inspections and tests to ensure the integrity of the system
* Respond to emergency situations, such as water leaks and pipe bursts
* Collaborate with other departments to achieve project goals
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate or degree preferred
* Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a Class A CDL license within one year
* Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
