Join Our Team as a Per Diem Outpatient Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Per Diem Outpatient Pharmacist to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a Per Diem Outpatient Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing pharmaceutical care services to our patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.

About the Role

This is a per diem / prn position, offering flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care services, including dispensing medications, monitoring patient responses, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pharmaceutical care services to patients, including dispensing medications and monitoring patient responses
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Manufacture non-standard pharmaceutical preparations as required
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care
  • Assist in the inspection of all pharmaceutical supplies
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Per Diem Outpatient Pharmacist with a strong background in pharmacy practice. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of one (1) year of pharmacy experience in a setting appropriate to the work assignment
  • Completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy residency preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
