Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at SCP Health. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Emergency Department Operations: Lead a team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care, ensuring timely and effective treatment of emergency patients.
  • Collaboration with Hospital Staff: Work closely with hospital staff, including nurses, technicians, and other physicians, to ensure seamless patient care and efficient department operations.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, reduce wait times, and optimize department performance.
  • Education and Training: Provide educational programs and training sessions for hospital staff to promote best practices and improve patient care.
  • EMR System Management: Utilize the Soarian EMR system to document patient information, track department performance, and analyze data to inform quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • 21K Annual ED Volume: Manage a high-volume emergency department with a strong focus on patient flow and efficient operations.
  • 121 Hospital Beds: Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure effective use of hospital resources and optimize patient care.
  • 14 ED Beds: Lead a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
  • 12-Hour Shifts: Work flexible 12-hour shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage and meet the needs of the emergency department.
  • 24-Hour Physician Coverage: Participate in a 24-hour physician coverage model to ensure timely and effective patient care.
  • 20-Hour NP/PA Coverage: Collaborate with nurse practitioners and physician assistants to provide comprehensive patient care and optimize department performance.
