Key Responsibilities
- Administer business insurance portfolios, including renewals and management of various insurance types such as General Liability, Property, Workers' Compensation, and more.
- Supervise the workers' compensation claims process, ensuring efficient handling of claims and maintaining effective communication with affected employees.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of workers' compensation claims, gathering necessary documentation and liaising with insurance providers.
- Track the progress of claims, coordinating with insurance adjusters to ensure efficient processing.
- Serve as a primary contact for employees injured on the job, guiding them through the claims process and available benefits.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant federal and state workers' compensation laws, ensuring timely reporting and documentation.
- Keep detailed records of all claims, including medical documentation and correspondence with insurers.
- Evaluate claims for validity and determine appropriate compensation levels based on established policies.
- Assist senior management in negotiations with insurance adjusters and legal representatives to secure fair settlements.
- Analyze claims data to identify trends and enhance safety protocols.
- Develop and implement comprehensive risk management processes and safety policies.
- Create and update the Safety Manual, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and industry standards.

- Formulate and maintain emergency response plans, ensuring organizational readiness for various scenarios.
- Analyze safety data to pinpoint trends and areas needing improvement, preparing reports for management review.
- Oversee the safety practices of external vendors to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of safety regulations and standards, including OSHA and EPA guidelines.
- Ability to prepare detailed incident reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Strong attention to detail in risk assessments and compliance documentation.
- Proficient in identifying and evaluating risks and hazards.
- Capability to develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
