Speech Language Pathologist Job Opportunity

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Pittsburg, CA. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping students enhance their communication skills and achieve their academic goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEP) for each student, ensuring personalized and effective interventions.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing updates and insights to educators and parents.
  • Maintain accurate records of student assessments, treatments, and progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create the most effective learning environment for students.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
  • Valid California SLP license.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Experience in a school-based setting is preferred.
