Job Summary

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Mobile Health Unit team. As a key member of our interprofessional team, you will provide primary care services to older adults in rural Tennessee counties.

As a Nurse Practitioner on our Mobile Health Unit, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients, as well as providing education and support to caregivers. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement care plans that address the unique needs of our patients.

We are seeking a candidate with a Master's degree in Nursing and certification as a Nurse Practitioner. Experience working in a community health setting and knowledge of primary care principles are highly desirable.

This is a Limited Duration Appointment (LDA) position, which may be converted to a permanent position prior to or at the conclusion of three years, funding dependent.

Responsibilities
  • Provide primary care services to older adults in rural Tennessee counties
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients
  • Provide education and support to caregivers
  • Develop and implement care plans that address the unique needs of patients
  • Work closely with our interprofessional team to deliver high-quality care
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Experience working in a community health setting
  • Knowledge of primary care principles
