Job Description:

As a CT Technologist at HexaQuEST Health, Inc., you will be responsible for ensuring that a written physician order is received prior to exam performance and collecting pertinent information. You will review exams on the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), checking for quality and completeness, and complete all necessary paperwork.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate regard for patient safety and comfort during transportation, immobilization, and positioning. You will also be responsible for verifying that all images are on PACS with appropriate paperwork scanned in and distributing exams for interpretation to the appropriate radiologist at completion of exam.

Additionally, you will perform other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department. This may include assisting the Radiologist/physician with patient exams and notifying them of changes to the patient that may alter exam protocol and performance.

Requirements include a valid Radiographer certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and a valid Computed Tomography certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) within 24 months of start date. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is also required within 90 days of start date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect pertinent information prior to performing exam
  • Review exams on PACS for quality and completeness
  • Complete all necessary paperwork
  • Verify that all images are on PACS with appropriate paperwork scanned in
  • Distribute exams for interpretation to the appropriate radiologist
  • Assist the Radiologist/physician with patient exams
  • Notify the Radiologist/physician of changes to the patient that may alter exam protocol and performance

Requirements:

  • Valid Radiographer certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
  • Valid Computed Tomography certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) within 24 months of start date
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) within 90 days of start date

Work Schedule:

This is a Weekend CT Technologist position, working 3-12 hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
