Cardiovascular Technician

The EKG Cardiology Technician performs non-invasive, diagnostic cardiology procedures to attain patient response, as directed or prescribed by a physician. This role involves preparing patients, taking and recording responses, identifying and classifying arrhythmias for physician interpretation, and advising physicians of noted abnormalities. Additionally, the technician performs general office duties as assigned.
Responsibilities- Observe and obtain information to understand the range of cardiac testing needed by the patient
- Report significant findings to care givers to ensure appropriate care is provided to patients
- Perform diagnostic cardiology procedures, including EKGs, to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and effective patient care
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of experience in a related field
- EKG Certification
- CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider
