The Airport Operations Manager will be a key member of our airport leadership team, reporting to the General Manager and leading the daily floor operations at our airport station. The ideal candidate for this position thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is a hands-on coach for security, customer service, and sales.

Key Responsibilities Include:


  • Customer-Facing Environment: Spend 80% of time on the floor in a customer-facing environment at the airport, ensuring a seamless and secure experience for our members.
  • Security and Integrity: Ensure CLEAR and TSA policy and procedures are conducted with the highest levels of security and integrity.
  • Security, Service, and Sales: Monitor and drive security, service, and sales on each shift, ensuring our members receive exceptional service.
  • Team Coaching and Development: Coach, mentor, and train the team to meet sales and customer service goals and standards.
  • Asset Control and Devices: Oversee asset control and devices, understanding how our technology works and being able to troubleshoot when necessary.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Represent CLEAR throughout the airport, TSA, and airline community by building strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Incident Prevention and Response: Manage incident prevention and responses, ensuring our airport station runs smoothly and securely.
  • Station Management Team Meetings: Attend station management team meetings to stay informed and contribute to decision-making.

Ideal Candidate Profile:


  • Leadership Experience: 1-2 years of leadership experience in a customer-facing operation (i.e., retail, restaurants, hospitality, rental cars).
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and influence others.
  • Priority Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities in an ever-changing environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks.
  • Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in using technology daily in your work.
  • Background Investigation: Required to successfully complete a government background investigation.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
  • Policies and Procedures: Ability to follow policies and procedures set forth by CLEAR, airport, state, and federal regulations.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Availability to work a non-traditional schedule (i.e., weekends, holidays, early mornings, and/or evenings).
