Supportive Role in Special Education

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Paraprofessional to join our team at New Story Schools. As a Special Education Paraprofessional, you will play a vital role in supporting the education and growth of students with special needs.

What We Offer
  • Competitive Compensation: $18-$20 per hour, commensurate with experience
  • Schedule: 35-40 hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (no nights or weekends)

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
  • Provide support in the classroom, helping students with academic tasks and promoting independence
  • Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to teachers as needed
Requirements
  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Genuine passion for working with children, patience, and compassion
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in psychology or related field
  • Experience working with children with special needs or autism
