Overview

Integration Innovation is in search of an Aircrewman Helicopter (AWS) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a software development team in creating virtual training solutions for the Navy MH-60 platform. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to interpret aviation terminology, procedures, and operations for the Virtual Training Suite (VTS) development team. Additionally, the candidate will assist with product progress reporting, scheduling, and interfacing with stakeholders.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $120,000. This range serves as a general guideline and does not guarantee specific compensation. Various factors will be considered in determining the final offer, including job responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, market alignment, geographic location, and applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities

Candidates should demonstrate exceptional communication and analytical abilities; familiarity with interactive multimedia instruction is advantageous. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with customers, supervisors, instructional systems designers, software designers, software engineers, and 3D artists to develop interactive mobile, web, augmented reality, virtual reality, desktop training systems, serious games, and distributed learning simulations.

The candidate will provide subject matter expertise during design meetings, storyboard creation, and software content validation. Adaptability to changing workloads and collaboration with team members and other business units to deliver software solutions while adhering to best practices for high-quality standards is essential. This dynamic work environment encourages creativity, expression, and professional growth.

Work Location

This position may be performed remotely or in various locations.

Travel Requirements

CONUS travel is required, estimated at less than 50%.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree along with a minimum of eight years of relevant experience, or an associate degree with at least 12 years of applicable experience in the specified NEC (G34A).
  • Experience as an AWR Instructor within the fleet.
  • Capability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite.

Preferred Experience:

  • Military experience as an instructor.
  • Familiarity with NETC.
  • Knowledge of software development, 3D creation, and gaming is a plus.
