We are seeking a skilled CT Imaging Specialist to join our team at HCA Florida JFK Hospital. As a CT Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of CT scan imaging procedures to diagnose medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate CT scan equipment to produce high-quality images for detecting pathology and abnormalities in patients.
- Obtain consent and prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process to them.
- Collaborate with physicians and other imaging staff as needed.
- Practice aseptic and sterile technique for all procedures.
- Work within the CT Tech scope of practice according to policy and procedures.
- Follow all general infection control measures and those specific to the CT scan department.
- Complete required documentation accurately immediately after completing each case.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Imaging.
- One year of experience in performing CT scans preferred.
- Florida State DOH General Radiographer and ARRT CT Registry or registry eligible and acquire within six months of hire.
