  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency calls received from the dispatch center, utilizing your expertise to provide timely and effective care.
  • Patient Transportation: Safely transport patients to medical facilities, prioritizing their comfort and well-being.
  • Medical Treatment: Assess, monitor, and provide necessary medical treatment to patients, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Documentation: Prepare accurate and timely written documentation of patient care and treatment.
  • Professional Development: Maintain professional certifications through ongoing training and education, ensuring expertise in emergency medical procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with completion of an approved EMT or EMT-Intermediate training program.
  • Certifications: SC Emergency Medical Technician Basic, National Registry of EMT, and BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support.
  • Experience: Pre-hospital care experience preferred, with a valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
