Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Veterinary Associate to join our esteemed practice. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with a requirement for weekend availability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional client experiences and foster strong relationships with pet owners.
  • Collaborate effectively with the management team and medical director.
  • Practice high-quality veterinary medicine, ensuring the well-being of all animals.
  • Conduct thorough examinations, diagnose conditions, and provide treatment plans.
  • Perform surgical procedures, including routine and complex operations.
  • Prescribe medications and develop preventative care strategies.
  • Advise pet owners on health, nutrition, and behavioral concerns.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Provide urgent and critical care as necessary.
  • Stay informed on the latest veterinary practices and advancements.
Qualifications
  • Valid veterinary license in good standing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills and sound medical judgment.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Effective time management and delegation skills.
  • Professional demeanor and courtesy in all interactions.
