  • Oversee day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities
  • Ensure efficient pharmacy workflow and a positive patient experience
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and cashiers within company guidelines
  • Develop and implement training programs for pharmacy technicians
  • Manage pharmacy inventory and maintain accurate records
  • Coordinate and participate in community outreach programs and events
  • Communicate effectively with pharmacy team members and external partners

Customer Experience:

  • Engage with customers and patients to provide excellent service
  • Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely manner
  • Develop strong relationships with customers to increase loyalty and retention

Operations:

  • Assist pharmacists in delivering patient care, including patient registration and prescription data entry
  • Prepare medications for patients and count and verify prescriptions (where allowed by law)
  • Complete patient and physician calls under pharmacist supervision (where allowed by law)
  • Manage core pharmacy workflow and drive excellence in pharmacy operations

People & Performance Management:

  • Lead performance management of technicians, including discipline and termination decisions
  • Develop and implement training programs for pharmacy technicians
  • Monitor and improve performance of pharmacy through team member engagement and action planning

Training & Personal Development:

  • Maintain PTCB certification through designated training programs
  • Enhance current knowledge and skills related to pharmacy and healthcare
  • Participate in performance improvement plans and seek professional development opportunities

Communication:

  • Communicate effectively with pharmacy team members and external partners
  • Participate in key store/pharmacy meetings and relay messages from the support center

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico)
  • One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
  • Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours
