Job Summary

The Audio-Visual Integration Technician is responsible for installing and configuring audio-visual equipment, including cables, routers, and switches. This role requires a strong understanding of cable flow and installation, as well as the ability to read and interpret technical diagrams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dress, label, pull, cut, and terminate cables
  • Install and connect video routers and switches
  • Identify and install cameras
  • Program proprietary equipment
  • Troubleshoot complex audio-video equipment
  • Manage inventory of repair and replacement parts
  • Complete daily reports, project photos, timecards, and project status
Requirements
  • Proficient with voltage meter, soldering iron, tone generator, multimeter, cable toners, striping cables, and network cable testers
  • Ability to dress racks
  • Ability to read, interpret, and communicate reflected ceiling plans, elevation drawings, and room flow diagrams
  • Knowledge of basics of AC/D voltage
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to use various web-based portals
  • Ability to fit into tight spaces, including ceiling access panels, closets, and interstitial spaces
  • Ability to quickly learn new computer programs and operate mobile devices
Working Environment

This role requires 100% travel to reach project locations. Employees working in hazardous conditions and areas are required to comply with all applicable safety provisions and to use PPE. The position is subject to both indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, including noise, vibration, and exposure to chemicals.

Compensation and Benefits

$25.00 - $30.00 based on experience. Health, Dental, and Vision Benefits. 401K Contribution and Match.
