About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Physician Advisor to join our Safety & Quality Institute at Novant Health. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the quality of care delivered to patients across our system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement clinical care standards to ensure high-quality patient services
  • Drive strategic growth and operational excellence across all Novant Health hospitals
  • Lead efforts to establish key performance indicators for quality, operational excellence, and cost-effectiveness
  • Collaborate with executive leadership, market presidents, and physician leaders to deliver patient care and coordinate transitions of care
  • Provide expertise on matters related to physician practice patterns, resource utilization, and medical necessity
Requirements
  • Board-certified physician with 10+ years of experience in clinical leadership and patient care
  • Proven track record of improving quality outcomes and reducing costs
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to partner with clinicians and administrators
  • Demonstrated expertise in clinical and leadership competence in their field of practice
