About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Pet Paradise Resort. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the resort, supervising staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operation of the resort, maintaining high standards of conduct, cleanliness, and safety.
  • Supervise, train, and coach resort team members to ensure they meet company standards and policies.
  • Prepare work schedules and assist with employee documentation.
  • Assist in the interview and onboarding process, focusing on necessary skills for the job.
  • Motivate team members to succeed and improve, delivering premier customer service.
  • Responsible for assisting new and current team members in completing required courses and training guides.
  • Communicate with customers regarding concerns, questions, or complaints.
  • Develop methods and procedures to increase sales and promote new business.
  • Perform opening and/or closing duties and other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • One to two years' experience in a supervisor or management role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, including the ability to guide, direct, and motivate employees.
  • Ability to resolve conflict and negotiate with others.
  • Detail-oriented and focused on results, with a desire to ensure all goals are met or exceeded.
  • Ability to develop and train staff, build relationships, and utilize staff skills effectively.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with dogs of all sizes, and physically able to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Flexibility to adapt to resort schedule needs, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times.
  • Valid driver's license and working motor vehicle.
