Job Title: Bilingual Human Resources Assistant

The Pictsweet Company is seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Human Resources Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in supporting the company's growth and success.

Responsibilities:
  • Record and maintain applicant profile information, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Track applicant data, including status, contacts, and offers of employment, to facilitate efficient recruitment processes.
  • Assist in employment coordination and processing new hires, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Distribute paychecks and assist in audits as needed, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Provide clerical support to the Safety and Emergency Response Committees, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Track employee enrollment in the company Health Insurance Program, ensuring timely and accurate updates.
  • Maintain office supplies and coordinate equipment maintenance/repairs with vendors, ensuring a productive work environment.
  • Monitor and track various HR/benefit programs, including FMLA, sick leave, and vacation, to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information and maintain a secure filing system.
  • Verify various employment records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide clerical support to the Human Resources Manager and Supervisor, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
Qualifications:
  • High School Education or equivalent required.
  • Completion of Business School or Associates Degree in Business, Office Management, or a related field strongly preferred.
  • 5 years of experience as a Human Resources Assistant, Office Manager, or similar work may be substituted for a degree.
  • 2 years of office experience required (with AA degree or Business School).
  • 5 years of applicable experience if no post-high school education. Prior Human Resource experience preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills (proficiency with MS Work and Excel) required.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and processing multiple sources of information.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish REQUIRED.
