St. Luke's Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Clinical Support Unit (Float Pool) in Boise, Idaho.
About the Role:- Provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Support multiple departments and units within the hospital, including Emergency Department, Medical Surgical, and Critical Care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop and maintain competencies in multiple skill sets, including medical surgical, telemetry, and critical care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care standards.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care.
- Implement and coordinate care plans, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document patient care and progress in accordance with hospital policies and standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
- Current RN licensure from the State of Idaho.
- 1+ year of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in Emergency Department or Critical Care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment.
