Prepares the monthly and annual budget for the store.
Verifies creditworthiness of new accounts.
Discusses departmental expenses with relevant managers.
Develops a strategic plan for the store's growth.
Maintains insurance and bonding policies.
Ensures adherence to quality control standards.
Files reports for any lost or stolen equipment.
Complies with government safety regulations for the store and surrounding areas.
Responsible for the security system and its upkeep.
Supervises the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility.
Assumes additional responsibilities as required.
Reports safety issues to the Director of Operations.
Engages with other professionals in the industry.
Follows all company policies, procedures, and regulations in both written and verbal forms.
Adheres to government safety requirements and other regulations within the store.
Represents the department in management meetings.
Conducts departmental, store, and safety meetings.
Participates in departmental, store, and safety meetings.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Work Environment:
The role primarily involves indoor work with limited exposure to outdoor conditions. Frequent interaction with both internal staff and customers is essential. Proficiency in computer systems is necessary for gathering and analyzing critical business information. The ability to quickly identify and resolve issues is crucial.
Qualifications:
+ Previous management experience in the rental sector is advantageous.
+ Must present a professional appearance.
+ Strong sales and customer service skills are required.
+ Proficiency in mathematics for problem-solving is necessary.
+ Clear communication in English, both spoken and written, is essential; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
+ Must successfully pass a company drug screening.
+ A valid driver's license is required.
+ An acceptable attendance record is necessary.
+ Ability to train and guide subordinate staff is important.
+ Must be able to follow and understand instructions provided in various formats.
+ Ability to maintain a cooperative relationship with colleagues is essential.
+ High levels of patience and the ability to provide constructive feedback are necessary.
