Position Overview

The Event Catering Associate plays a crucial role in assisting the event operations team to ensure seamless catering services and successful events.

This position involves setting up for events, transporting necessary equipment, food, and supplies, serving guests, and performing cleanup duties post-event.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare catering and event services in accordance with client specifications and event orders.
  • Deliver and transport catering food and beverages along with essential supplies and equipment.
  • Arrange chairs, tables, buffet setups, and other equipment as specified in the event order.
  • Restock food and beverage items throughout the event.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of food service areas during events.
  • Collect and dispose of food and beverage items after service.
  • Disassemble and clean the event area after the conclusion of events, returning equipment to proper storage.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all attendees.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Experience in catering is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Compliance with the designated dress code is required.
  • Availability for event-based hours is essential.
  • Completion of Food Handling and Alcohol Service training as mandated.


This role may involve physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing.

Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
