Key Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations and implement treatment plans based on physician directives, including the recommendation and acquisition of necessary adaptive equipment.
• Set measurable objectives and design treatment strategies to assist patients in achieving their highest level of independence and functionality.
• Ensure effective communication among the treatment team, physicians, patients, and family members as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services rendered to facilitate proper billing processes.
• Oversee the activities of Physical Therapist Assistants and Physical Therapy Aides in accordance with state regulations.
Qualifications
• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current, unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the relevant state.
• Current BLS or CPR certification as per state requirements.
• Preferred experience of at least one (1) year in physical therapy.
