Job Title: Shift Lead

At Border Foods, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Lead to join our team. As a Shift Lead, you will be responsible for the overall operation of the restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our team members are empowered to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of restaurant staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Monitor and control labor costs, inventory, and cash handling to ensure profitability.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve restaurant performance, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives.
  • Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in restaurant management or leadership role.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including food safety, inventory management, and cash handling.
