Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with project managers, interior designers, and architects to develop detailed cost plans.
  • Evaluate specifications and drawings to produce accurate cost estimates.
  • Consider all expenses, factoring in supply chain issues and market dynamics.
  • Engage with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive bids and procurement.
  • Oversee project budgets and implement adjustments to enhance profitability.
  • Generate financial reports and forecasts for management, emphasizing cost-saving strategies.
  • Assist in the creation of cost estimation tools to improve efficiency.
  • Advise project teams on budgeting, cost management, and financial strategies.
  • Foster strong relationships with suppliers, trades, and clients.
  • Ensure alignment of cost plans with corporate objectives and revenue goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
  • Proficient in Buildertrend, Microsoft Office, and estimating software.
  • Ability to analyze drawings and specifications, preparing accurate estimates and proposals.
  • Maintain client relationships and manage pricing databases.
  • Collaborate with architects and owners; lead preconstruction activities.
  • Estimate costs for new projects and change orders.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with a minimum of 3 years of experience on job sites.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
  • Reliable transportation and eligibility to work in the U.S.
