Job Title: Nephrology Registered Nurse

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Nephrology Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Oklahoma City, OK.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Nephrology Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a short-term acute care hospital setting. As a Nephrology Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized care plans for patients with renal disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, monitoring patients' responses and reporting outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in step-down or intermediate care settings.
  • Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
