Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Soliant. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in evaluating and diagnosing occupational therapy needs, creating customized treatment plans, and providing education and training to families and caregivers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluation and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and diagnoses of occupational therapy needs to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address each patient's unique needs and goals.
  • Direct Therapy: Provide direct therapy to students in individual or group settings, utilizing a variety of techniques and strategies to promote optimal outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and ensure a comprehensive approach to care.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient conditions, treatment plans, therapy sessions, and progress.
  • IEP Meetings: Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student support to ensure a seamless transition between therapy sessions and academic goals.
  • Supervision: Supervise and provide guidance to occupational therapy assistants as needed to ensure high-quality care and support.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in an occupational therapy setting, with a preference for experience working in a school setting as an OT.
  • Education: Must have a master's degree in Occupational Therapy, with full accreditation (OTR) preferred.
  • Clinical Fellowship: Must be in at least the Clinical Fellowship Year to ensure a strong foundation in occupational therapy principles and practices.
