The selected candidate will be compensated at a competitive hourly rate as a Contract W-2 Employee.

Typical working hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., including a 30-minute lunch break, with potential flexibility based on client coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

The Construction Project Manager will serve as a key figure in managing small-scale projects (up to $150k) associated with the building repair and alteration program. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting customer needs assessments
  • Performing feasibility studies
  • Preparing construction cost estimates
  • Confirming project specifications
  • Developing Scopes of Work (SOW), specifications, and project plans

Essential Skills:

  • Communication: Proficient in both oral and written communication
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with construction drawings and specifications
  • Project Management Tools: Experience with electronic project management systems

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of project management experience in construction, handling projects ranging from $2,500 to $150,000
  • Experience in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and general office space construction
  • Comparable Federal Grade Level: GS-12
