Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Artist to join our team at Posana, a contemporary American restaurant in downtown Asheville. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes that showcase our commitment to seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including soups, salads, and entrees, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
  • Work collaboratively with our culinary team to ensure seamless execution of menu items and exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest culinary trends and techniques.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in the F&B industry, with a strong focus on culinary arts.
  • Excellent knife skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a positive attitude and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
