Position SummaryThe MRI Technologist will be responsible for capturing detailed medical images using advanced magnetic resonance imaging technology. You will work in various environments, including hospitals, outpatient facilities, and imaging centers, ensuring patients are well-prepared for their procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for MRI scans and explain the procedure to alleviate any concerns.
- Operate MRI machinery effectively to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic evaluation.
- Process and manage patient records accurately, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Utilize additional radiologic equipment as necessary, including CT and X-ray machines.
- A minimum of 1 year of recent experience as an MRI Technologist.
- ARRT Certification is required.
- BLS Certification (AHA) is mandatory.
- Current state licensure, if applicable.
