Role Summary:
The primary objective of this role is to deliver high-quality medical care to patients, facilitating their recovery from acute conditions and managing chronic illnesses effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients by gathering complete medical histories, performing physical examinations, and reviewing medical records.
- Order necessary laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures to evaluate patient conditions.
- Analyze and synthesize data to formulate accurate diagnoses and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Collaborate with fellow physicians and medical specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care in line with established medical standards.
- Document all relevant findings, assessments, treatment plans, and other pertinent information in patient records.
- Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, expected outcomes, and preventive measures.
- Review treatment outcomes by analyzing diagnostic results and ensuring follow-up care is timely and effective.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to physician assistants, nursing staff, and interns regarding patient care practices.
- Maintain a focus on customer satisfaction for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the financial sustainability of the practice while striving to meet organizational goals.
- Engage in organizational initiatives aimed at continuous quality improvement.
- Adhere to all compliance regulations relevant to the position.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required: Minimum of three years of relevant experience.
Desired: Previous experience as a staff physician.
Education:
Essential: Doctorate in a relevant field.
Working Conditions:
- Requires manual dexterity and coordination.
- Involves some occupational risks.
- May require lifting up to 35 lbs.
- Exposure to various environmental factors may occur.
