We are seeking a skilled Anesthetist to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients pre-operatively to develop a comprehensive anesthesia plan
- Administer anesthesia in accordance with departmental standards of care
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Completion of a Nurse Anesthesia program accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA)
- Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Provider (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) in the state of North Carolina
- Board certification if required by the Department
