Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Anesthetist to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients pre-operatively to develop a comprehensive anesthesia plan
  • Administer anesthesia in accordance with departmental standards of care
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Completion of a Nurse Anesthesia program accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA)
  • Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Provider (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) in the state of North Carolina
  • Board certification if required by the Department
