Job Description

ResourceMFG, a food manufacturing company based in Vernon, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Logistics Manager to oversee the overall supply chain management. This role involves planning, directing, and overseeing all warehouse business concerns, including Inbound and outbound shipments, equipment maintenance and repair, transportation, personnel and budget management, cost, and operating efficiencies control.

Responsibilities:

  1. Effectively communicate company, plant, and department priorities across all levels
  2. Communicate any issues during shift, across all levels, as appropriate (e.g., production orders, safety hazards, etc.)
  3. Enforce company, plant, and departmental policies and procedures and work instructions, including safety policies, GMPs, HACCP standards, and AIB standards
  4. Train, counsel, monitor work, assign work, discipline employees, and orient new employees on department-related activities
  5. Conduct performance evaluations of assigned team members and identify training and developmental needs necessary and conduct required training for assigned employee group
  6. Appropriately handle employee concerns and complaints and conduct pre-shift and shift-change meetings with team members to communicate issues, concerns, and information
  7. Perform walkthroughs of production and warehouse areas with leads, focusing on equipment performance, product quality, housekeeping, safety, and food safety
  8. Schedule team to meet production goals, including approving and scheduling team member vacations
  9. Maintain schedules, timecards, and prepare all HR-related paperwork and maintain teamwork, consistency, and fairness among all employees to foster a positive work environment within the department, plant, and entire organization

  • Meat manufacturing background required
  • Minimum 3 years of recent shipping & receiving supervisor experience
  • Stand up, sit-down, and EPJ experience required
