Position Overview: Bartender
As a bartender, your primary responsibility is to foster enjoyable experiences for patrons by expertly crafting and serving beverages in a welcoming and efficient manner.
This role encompasses significant duties related to cash management, inventory oversight, organization, and maintaining a clean environment that exceeds standard expectations for hourly positions.
- Employ high-quality spirits, fresh fruits, herbs, and spices to create exquisite drinks for guests.
- Greet patrons and process drink orders, mixing and serving beverages in accordance with company protocols.
- Ensure the bar area is well-stocked and visually appealing for optimal service.
- Provide knowledgeable wine recommendations and service.
- Work in tandem with the culinary team on mixers and garnishes.
- Verify age compliance for alcohol sales.
- Manage cash transactions with precision and accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and perform general cleaning duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of two years of bartending experience is preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of drink recipes and wine varieties.
- Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively, consistently exceeding guest expectations.
- Strong communication skills and a personable attitude.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- A functional email address for managerial correspondence is required.
