Key Responsibilities

Administrative Duties

  • Complete daily cleaning checklists
  • Maintain open communication with team members regarding updates and improvements
  • Identify and report maintenance issues
  • Notify staff of supplies that need to be ordered

Cleaning Responsibilities

  • Sweep, vacuum, and mop all facility floors and entrances
  • Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately
  • Clean clinic doors and windows
  • Manage daily laundry for the clinic
  • Sanitize restroom sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors
  • Restock cleaning supplies as necessary
  • Perform general dusting and upkeep of the facility
  • Wash dishes used by patients and staff
  • Conduct deep cleaning during designated shifts
  • Ensure the overall cleanliness of the medical center

Expectations

  • Seek coverage for shifts when unable to attend
  • Accommodate staffing needs whenever possible
  • Adhere to facility guidelines regarding appearance and uniform
  • Familiarize yourself with and follow all facility policies and procedures
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor towards clients and colleagues
  • Build strong, professional relationships with team members

Qualifications for Success

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a medical or clinical setting preferred
  • Prior cleaning experience is advantageous
  • Strong multitasking abilities, honesty, service orientation, and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including walking, standing, and lifting up to fifty pounds
  • Legible writing skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
