The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Delivering comprehensive perioperative care in recovery, procedure, and operating rooms, particularly for cardiac surgeries.
- Ensuring the operating room is sterile and equipped with all necessary supplies and instruments.
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and promptly reporting any adverse reactions.
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans for surgical patients.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educating patients and their families on post-operative care and lifestyle adjustments.
- Responding to medical emergencies and coordinating with the healthcare team as needed.
- Exhibiting flexibility to travel to various assignment locations.
- Adhering to the facility's required schedule.
- Completing onboarding tasks in a timely manner.
- Adapting quickly to new environments while maintaining high standards of patient care.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CVOR nurse.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current state-specific RN license in good standing or a compact state RN license.
- BLS certification is required; ACLS certification may be necessary.
