Your Responsibilities:
Prioritize Safety. Actively engage in promoting safety standards for yourself and your colleagues in alignment with industry regulations and Vulcan protocols.
Service and Repair Mobile Machinery. Conduct servicing, repairs, adjustments, and testing of all mobile machinery operating within the facility to enhance performance and minimize downtime.
Evaluate Equipment and Materials. Perform inspections on all mobile machinery to diagnose and troubleshoot issues. Execute repairs as needed to resolve identified problems.
Manage and Transport Materials. Safely handle, install, position, and transport parts, materials, and industrial tools throughout the workshop and facility.
Record and Document Information. Ensure accurate and timely documentation is completed daily and monthly concerning all mobile machinery. Maintain service records for all mobile equipment in both written and electronic formats.
Operate Machinery. Assist in operating heavy machinery and vehicles within the facility as necessary to maintain efficient production levels.
Engage in Physical Activities. Participate in physical tasks that require full body movement and significant use of limbs, including climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, bending, and handling materials.
Additional Duties. Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Essential Skills:
Experience. Previous experience with diesel or heavy construction machinery is advantageous.
Knowledge of Best Practices. Familiarity with general principles and practices for servicing heavy construction machinery is preferred.
Adaptability. Willingness to work overtime and extended hours based on customer and company needs. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and tolerate exposure to high noise levels.
Mechanical Proficiency. Basic knowledge of industrial tools, their applications, and maintenance is required.
