Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

LeaderStat is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear medicine technology and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Administer radioactive materials to patients for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, including cameras and computers
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accurate and safe imaging results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience working as a full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Clinical experience within the last 2 years
  • Current State licensure
  • Current relevant certifications (BLS, ACLS, etc.)
