Project Engineer Role

The Project Engineer position at Murray Company is a key entry point into construction project management, playing a critical role in project success. Our Northern California Division is expanding in the Sacramento region.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Project Manager in planning work schedules, determining manpower levels, and assigning project personnel.
- Coordinate project personnel activities to ensure timely completion and adherence to budget constraints.
- Advise the Project Manager of potential problems, work interferences, and schedule difficulties, assisting in resolving such issues as needed.
- Prepare letters, memos, reports, and procedures as required by the supervisor.
- Oversee day-to-day administrative tasks per supervisor's authorization.
- Compile special reports, studies, and statistical analysis upon request from the supervisor.

Requirements

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong computer literacy skills
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field

Physical Demands

- Prolonged sitting at a desk
- Regular site visits, including ladder climbing and other physical demands
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
