Clinical Nurse II: Cardiothoracic Surgery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Cardiothoracic Surgery team at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our department.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement physician orders and administer medications as needed.
- Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
- Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Graduate of a professional academic nursing program.
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license.
- Obtains and maintains certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Minimum of 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
