Overview

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene, a division of Dartmouth Health, is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team in Keene, NH. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals presenting in the emergency department and inpatient consults.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive behavioral health care to patients in the emergency department and inpatient settings
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with psychiatric disorders
  • Prescribe and manage medications as needed
  • Document patient progress and outcomes
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric nursing
  • Graduation from a state-certified advanced practice program specializing in psychiatry/mental health
  • At least 1-2 years of experience providing direct client care to individuals with psychiatric disorders
  • Ability to work with adult and adolescent populations
  • Current certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (APRN) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
  • Unrestricted license to practice as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) in the state of New Hampshire
  • Valid DEA number and unrestricted DEA license in New Hampshire
  • Registration with the state Prescription Monitoring Program (PDMP) in New Hampshire
