We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our Home Health team. As a Speech Therapist with LHC Group, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patient care needs related to treating speech and language disorders and functional training in communication, swallowing, and cognitive impairments.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with the plan of care and in coordination with other members of the healthcare team.
- Provide services within the scope of practice as defined by state laws governing the practice of speech therapy.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and caregivers to educate them on areas of speech therapy in which they can participate.
- Current licensure in Speech Therapy in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
