About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Extern to join our team at TriStar Summit Medical Center. As a Nurse Extern, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality patient-centered care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care by performing delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living.
  • Assist the nursing staff in providing patient care in accordance with your skills/training and the needs of the Department.
  • Maintain a clean, well-organized, and safe patient care environment.
  • Document patient care information in the appropriate computer screens.
  • Provide compassionate, holistic care, while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited school of nursing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current.
  • Must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited RN nursing program.
  • Can be considered for Nurse Extern after completion of first nursing semester or CNA in first semester of RN program.
